From Bavarian Adventures to Global Travel

In 1999, three outdoor enthusiasts – Daniel, Julia, and Yola – founded Travel People GmbH in the Alpine town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. What began as a small business organizing windsurfing and mountain biking trips evolved into a passion for equipping travelers with gear as resilient as their spirit.

2005: A Traveler’s Epiphany

After years of watching clients struggle with flimsy suitcases and impractical backpacks, we started designing prototypes in a Bavarian workshop. Our first product? A waterproof duffel bag tested on a stormy Baltic Sea kite-surfing expedition.

2024: Launching Preoluggage

Today, we combine 25+ years of travel expertise with German engineering to create luggage that survives:
